IAQ Radio cleaned up, edited and added to a great show from May of 2010 with Dr. Andrew Persily of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Dr. Persily is currently a Fellow at NIST but at the time of this interview he was leading the indoor air quality and ventilation group.
During this interview they talked about his time as the Steering Committee Chair of the ASHRAE Design Guide “Indoor Air Quality Guide- Best Practices for Design, Construction and Commissioning” a collaboration between ASHRAE, AIA, BOMA, SMACNA, EPA and the USGBC. They also discussed what NIST does, weatherization issues, ventilation and of course indoor air quality.
