Beware of Spammers Posing as BPA Representatives

As conference season approaches, we’ve noticed a rise in scam attempts targeting our community, particularly around the 2025 National Home Performance Conference. Spammers are calling or emailing, falsely claiming to be BPA employees. Here are common tactics to watch out for: 

  • Confirming your information or claiming issues with your registration, exhibit booth, or sponsorship 
  • Offering discounted hotel rooms, confirming hotel information, or asking if you’ve booked a hotel room
  • Selling attendee lists (we never share your email information!)
