Beware of Spammers Posing as BPA Representatives
October 25, 2024
As conference season approaches, we’ve noticed a rise in scam attempts targeting our community, particularly around the 2025 National Home Performance Conference. Spammers are calling or emailing, falsely claiming to be BPA employees. Here are common tactics to watch out for:
- Confirming your information or claiming issues with your registration, exhibit booth, or sponsorship
- Offering discounted hotel rooms, confirming hotel information, or asking if you’ve booked a hotel room
- Selling attendee lists (we never share your email information!)
These scammers are not affiliated with BPA. Please verify any communications through our official channels. If you have concerns or questions, reach out directly to:
- Robyn Hall – Registration
- Gypsy Matlak – Billing
- Chris Docchio – Exhibit Booth/Sponsorships
- Bethany Dittmar – Education
