Massachusetts BPA Affiliate Meeting
17 November 2022
3pm - 4pm ET
Join us Thursday, November 17, at 3:00 PM for Massachusetts State Updates
Building Performance Association (BPA) and industry stakeholders in Massachusetts would like to invite you to the next group affiliate meeting on November 17 from 3 pm – 4 pm ET.
Since our last meeting, much has happened in the industry. We hope you can join us to discuss what’s new with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) guidelines and its impact on state funding.
The Inflation Reduction Act contains tens of billions of dollars focused on home performance, including $8.8 billion for two new efficiency and electrification rebate programs, $200 million for contractor training, and an estimated $12 billion for residential efficiency tax credits. According to the Department of Energy (DOE), Massachusetts is slated to receive approximately $146 million for HOMES and electrification rebate programs. When this funding will be available and how it will roll out in Massachusetts is top-of-mind for our industry.
Skip Wiltshire-Gordon, AnnDyl Senior Policy Associate and BPA Policy Advisor, will share more about the IRA, DOE’s plans for listening sessions, Requests for Information (RFI), and how BPA plans to engage in implementation. Though many details remain to be decided, your voice will be key to the process.
Kate Peters from Eversource and Chris Porter from National Grid will also present their updated IRA plans. We will also discuss 2023 tax credits and how they will combine with new and existing programs.
Please join us for this important conversation! This meeting is open to all industry stakeholders.
