Residential Products Meeting CEE’s Highest Tier

Website

Overview

See a summary of products that meet the highest efficiency tiers established by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE).

Consortium for Energy Efficiency

CEE, a nonprofit public benefits corporation, develops national initiatives to promote the manufacture and purchase of energy-efficient products and services. Its goal is to induce lasting structural and behavioral changes in the marketplace, resulting in the increased adoption of energy-efficient technologies.

The CEE Directory provides easy access to energy efficient residential and small commercial central air-conditioners and heat pump equipment, gas water heaters, furnaces and boilers certified through AHRI. The directory lists thousands of certified systems that qualify for CEE’s residential and commercial HVAC and water heating initiatives.

The links provided show a summary of products that meet the highest efficiency tiers (not including any Advanced Tier) established by CEE in effect as of January 1, 2023 and cited in the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (IRA).

The lists were compiled by the U.S. Department of Energy and identify product models that meet the criteria for the CEE Market Transformation Tiers specified within IRA. The data provided are the representations submitted to DOE by manufacturers and their third party representatives. DOE makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy of the data. They have been provided to CEE for the purpose of communicating eligibility for these CEE Tiers. They may contain products that are not AHRI Certified and/or may not reflect the most current AHRI Certified data. These spreadsheets are updated at least every two weeks and are stamped with their dates of publication.
