The online Building Analyst Professional (BA-P) course is designed to enhance energy efficiency professionals’ skills by providing training in various areas such as work scope development, energy modeling, HVAC systems, best practices, and on-site management.
After completing the course, students can take a 2.5 hour proctored online exam to obtain the BPI Building Analyst Professional certification.
Learning Objectives:
- Develop actionable plans and work scope measures based on documentation gathered during site visits.
- Identify structural and other deficiencies using collected data.
- Understand the structural and materials requirements for implementing recommended measures.
- Perform calculations to determine ventilation requirements, baseload utilities consumption, heat loss, and air leakage.
- Create accurate models of building energy usage.
- Prioritize work scope measures based on both gathered and remote data.
- Prioritize health and safety repairs.
- Calculate savings resulting from the installation of energy conservation measures.
This course will prepare you to take and pass the BPI Analyst Professional written exam.
