Air leakage in building enclosures is often invisible, complex, and highly dependent on testing conditions. This technical webinar focuses on how to use proven diagnostic tools to make airflow measurable, visible, and interpretable, with an emphasis on practical application, correct setup, and sound interpretation.
This webinar walks through a logical workflow for investigating air leakage using four core diagnostic tools: blower doors, foggers, additional high-res manometers, and infrared cameras. Each tool is examined on its own, then placed into a coordinated testing sequence to show how they can be applied to air tightness measurement, leakage exposure, and show how pressure drivers interact with the envelope on a daily basis.
Key topics discussed include:
- Blower doors and pressure-based diagnostics
- Fog testing for airflow visualization
- Infrared imaging and thermal indicators
Participants will gain a clear, methodical approach to combining pressure testing, airflow visualization, and thermal imaging into a single diagnostic process. By the end of the webinar, attendees will be able to plan and execute enclosure investigations more confidently, document findings more clearly, and draw stronger conclusions about air leakage locations and causes.
