Smarter Tests, Shorter Learning Curves: New Software for Testing and Training

12 November 2026

1 PM EST

When Retrotec introduced the first wireless touchscreen manometer, along with apps built to run tests from it, it changed how airtightness testing happened in the field. Technicians were no longer tethered to a gauge or recording numbers by hand. Tests became faster to set up, easier to repeat, and the data collected on site became more consistent and easier to trust, store, and share.

The next generation of that software builds on those years of field use. In this webinar, we’ll walk through two new apps: one for automated and multi-point airtightness testing, and a gauge remote app with built-in training features. The focus is on how they work, not a feature list.

We’ll set up and run automated single-point and multi-point tests, look at how the software handles test sequencing, baseline pressures, and data quality, and review how results line up with common test standards. We’ll then cover remote gauge control: running a test from a phone or tablet, monitoring readings in real time, and moving through the building freely. Finally, we’ll look at the training features, which guide newer technicians through setup and testing step by step and help crews build consistent habits.

Whether you’re an energy auditor, HERS rater, weatherization tech, or commissioning agent, you’ll leave with a clear picture of how these tools fit into your workflow. Bring your questions. We’ll save time for Q&A at the end.
