AGENDA:
- Status of the Governor’s Office of Energy (GOE) Home Energy Rebates and what you need to do to participate! These programs provide nearly $100 million in funding for energy efficiency upgrades for Nevada households, within individual projects eligible for $14,000 or more in rebates, but there are multiple programs with various program rules that contractors need to navigate.
- Other incentive programs available to contractors include the Nevada Clean Energy Fund RE-UP Grants, RE-UP Loans, and NV Energy efficiency programs. We’ll discuss how contractors can make these programs fit together.
- Nevada has multiple workforce development programs for energy efficiency contractors, including the Training for Residential Energy Contractors and the Energy Workforce Accelerator. We’ll discuss how contractors can take advantage of these programs.
- Emerging opportunities to use AI, smart devices, and customer energy data to streamline your efficiency offerings–including remote diagnostics, AI analytics, and additional incentives for customers for flexible demand devices. We are conducting research and need your feedback on the current interest and barriers to further deployment of these technologies.
