Shane Bulick

Shane Bulick is the General Manager of Adaptive Insulation’s Central Pennsylvania operations, where he leads the company’s expansion into the region and works to advance high-performance insulation, air sealing, weatherization, and home performance services throughout the community.

A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Shane served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Environmental Geography from The Pennsylvania State University, where he participated in ecology research projects in South Africa and San Salvador supported by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Shane is a certified BPI HEP Energy Auditor and Quality Control Inspector with nearly two decades of experience in energy auditing, building science, field staff supervision, workforce development, and policy development for residential and commercial energy efficiency programs. His career has spanned hands-on fieldwork, program management, technical training, quality assurance, and the development of the workforce needed to support a more energy-efficient built environment.

Shane’s passion is connecting building science and energy efficiency with practical solutions that improve the health, comfort, affordability, and performance of homes—particularly for underserved communities. Through Adaptive Insulation, he is now bringing that experience back to Central Pennsylvania, with a focus on helping homeowners, contractors, and communities gain greater control over energy use and the performance of their buildings.
