NEEP: Ready, Set, Scale: Expanding Building Inspections: RVI and Off-Site Construction
Overview
Remote virtual inspections (RVI) and off-site construction are timesaving measures, and help mitigate the effects of an ongoing shortage of code officials.

This webinar focuses on remote virtual inspections (RVI) and off-site construction. Off-site construction practices have become increasingly common as a strategy for addressing the challenges of sustainability, affordability, and quality within the building industry.
Regardless of where building components are fabricated, projects must comply with the building codes in place at the final job site. Given separate sites for fabrication and construction, innovative deployment of RVI and third-party inspections address barriers and can help facilitate more off-site construction projects. Of course, the use of RVI is not limited to off-site construction. They are a timesaving measure, and this helps mitigate the effects of an ongoing shortage of code officials.
