Section 608 of the Federal Clean Air Act requires that all persons who maintain, service, repair, or dispose of appliances that contain ozone-depleting refrigerants be certified in proper refrigerant handling techniques. This course will prepare students, apprentices, and technicians for all four sections of the EPA Section 608 examination. (Core, Type I, Type II, Type III.)

The EPA 608 Exam fee is a separate fee charged when scheduling your exam after you have completed the course. After completing the course and earning a certificate of completion, students can optionally submit an EPA 608 exam application and $125 exam fee in the last module of the course.
