Please join BPA and Service Year Alliance on Thursday, November 30th at 2 p.m. EST for a discussion on how Weatherization Agencies and State Energy Offices can build capacity by utilizing an AmeriCorps Service Member.
This webinar will dive into the available AmeriCorps programs, with specific focus given to the State/National program model. In addition, BPA’s own AmeriCorps VISTA will briefly highlight the work being undertaken in Maine. And finally, learn more about a new opportunity to bring AmeriCorps members to weatherization and clean energy offices to advance their goals. We will discuss the scope of work involved to include member service activities that can increase capacity for weatherization and state energy offices, the role of host sites and BPA, and timeline for launching the program.
