Kentucky Energy Efficiency Meeting

The Building Performance Association invites home performance and energy efficiency professionals to attend our Kentucky Energy Efficiency meeting on March 7, 2024. Weatherization agencies, contractors, and businesses and their employees are welcome to join us for a full day of networking and informative discussions. This event will be in-person at the Building Industry Association of Central Kentucky (3146 Custer Drive, Lexington, KY 40517). In-person attendance is strongly encouraged, but a virtual option will be available.

What You’ll Learn

The day will consist of a deep dive into the Training Residential Energy Contractors (TREC) Grant, presentations on state-specific training and initiatives, updates on the Inflation Reduction Act and federal rebates, and more. You will also learn about BPA’s activities including our Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) support, and how a RAP can enable you to recruit and train licensed employees, grow your business, and support industry development.

The day will conclude with opportunities for feedback and engagement with industry leaders and peers, ensuring participants leave well-informed and connected.

This event is free to attend and lunch will be provided.

By attending this meeting, you will earn 2 hours of CEU credits approved by Building Performance Institute, Inc. (BPI). Please bring your BPI # to receive credits. You must attend the full meeting to obtain the CEUs.

Participate in Our Kentucky Workforce Needs Assessment Survey

BPA invites weatherization agencies, energy efficiency businesses, employees, and contractors to participate in our Energy Efficiency Workforce Needs Assessment Survey. This survey is designed to identify the hiring needs, workforce development gaps, and accessibility barriers facing industry professionals in Kentucky. Responses will be aggregated into a report that will include specific recommendations to address energy efficiency workforce needs.

By completing the survey before the March 7th meeting, you will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a Home Depot gift card.
