Call for Volunteers to Lead Pennsylvania BPA Affiliate Group

September 29, 2023

BPA is looking for volunteers to lead the Pennsylvania BPA Affiliate (PA BPA) group. The group is in the beginning stages of being formed, and will work together on industry issues, sharing best practices, and advocating for the home performance industry in the state.

As a lead organizer of PA BPA, you’ll have a pivotal role in bringing together local stakeholders. Your efforts will empower workers, contractors, and advocates, giving them a collective voice in shaping the design and implementation of state and federals programs that impact them directly.

How will the PA BPA Affiliate group operate?

The Affiliate group will meet virtually and in-person on a regular basis. The group will serve as a hub for workforce development in the home performance/energy efficiency industry, offering resources, best practices, policy, networking, professional development, and employment opportunities.

Who can join the PA BPA Affiliate group?

State Energy Offices, State Housing Divisions, State Department of Labor, Weatherization agencies, contractors, small businesses, nonprofits, and others interested in changing the home performance industry are welcome to join the Affiliate group.

If you’re dedicated, passionate, and driven, with a strong desire to create positive change in Pennsylvania, we encourage you to apply by Monday, October 16th!
