ODOE to Hold Virtual Meeting November 16 on Proposed Rule Amendments for Oregon Rental Home Heat Pump Program

The Oregon Department of Energy will hold a virtual meeting on November 16, 2023, on the Oregon Rental Home Heat Pump Program which offers rebates and grants for the installation of heat pumps and related upgrades in dwellings used as a residential tenancy (rentals) and manufactured dwellings or recreational vehicles located in a rented space.
In 2023, the Oregon Legislature extended the Oregon Rental Home Heat Pump Program by one year, until January 2, 2026. At the same time, the language relating to the reserved program budget was also amended. ODOE is launching a process to update the program’s administrative rules to reflect those changes and make additional program edits. ODOE will be requesting feedback on the proposed rule amendments, which will be made available on the rulemaking page prior to the meeting.
